This year we are instituting a program called: Send Kids to the Classics

This program is designed to help the WSO spark an interest in music in our youth by sending a group of kids to the Masterworks Series concerts. This new program is designed to introduce classical music to school-age children K - 12, by sending groups of children to WSO concerts throughout the season.

If you are a music teacher, public or private, email me at director@wyomingsymphony.org to tell us how many student tickets you would like us to send you. We hope that many students will take us up on this offer of free tickets. We need to get a count of the number of tickets a week in advance of the concert; so that we can get them mailed to you.

When you email us, please tell us how many you need and give us your address at school.

We are investigating grants to enable us to send Symphony musicians into the classroom to discuss their instruments, music and more with students. We are also planning to be available to have small ensembles perform for schools.

We hope to have the entire symphony perform a Young People's Concert in the future. If you would like to assist the WSO to fund this, please let contact us.
