Music on the Move brings fun and exciting educational programs to Wyoming schools and community groups. Designed by Music Director and Conductor Matthew Savery, Music on the Move will bring the wonders of classical music to organization throughout the region for free. All performances are informal, tailored to the occasion and include discussions of various topics by the performers.

If you would like to learn more please contact the WSO office. | Music on the Move Opportunities Conductor in Residency: Internationally acclaimed Conductor Matthew Savery will visit your school or organization in a variety of settings including the classroom, ensemble rehearsal and lecture setting. Teachers and organizers can choose from classes or lectures already designed by the Maestro, or may work with Mr. Savery to custom design an event.
WSO Horn Quartet: Our wonderful horn section presents a fun program taking you through the history and development of the horn, including a funny presentation on how a horn can be made from rubber tubing. The Equinox Trio: Representing the Strings of the orchestra, the Equinox trio brings a wide variety of repertoire from Baroque through the 21st century. WSO Woodwind Quintet: Focusing on styles of dance music from throughout history, our woodwind quintet demonstrates various woodwind instruments as well. ReedyPagliacci: Our bassoon trio brings shows why the bassoon is the traditional jester of the orchestra. A funny presentation of this often misunderstood, but surprisingly agile instrument. Rara Avis: Comprised of two flues, bassoon, recorder and keyboard, Rara Avaris presents a fun program of music known and unknown – popular and classic! |
