YOUNG ARTIST COMPETITION

We are excited to present our fifth Young Artist Competition designed to recognize and encourage the musical artistry of young Wyomingites.

Eligibility:
The Wyoming Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Competition is open to all students between ages 13 and 25 who are residents of Wyoming OR are enrolled as an undergraduate student in an accredited Wyoming university or college as of February 1, 2026.
Divisions and Awards:
In addition to cash prizes, division winners will each perform their solos at one of the WSO's 2026-27 season concerts. The High School Division winner will perform their solo with the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra at the first concert of the 2026-27 season on September 26th, 2026. The Collegiate Division winner will perform their solo with the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra at the final concert of the 2026-27 concert season on April 17th, 2027.

High school: $750
Undergraduate: $1,000
